Cheap internet plans but at what cost ‘lots of headache’. If you think tikona is cheap then beware they will make you pay with their worst customer service and careless attitude.
I happen to be former customer of tikona from 2012 to 2013. And thank god I am not the first person who takes care of internet, it was my roommate. Firstly in Gurgaon and then in noida. They suck in both the places. Our plan was of 2Mbps till 20 GB then 512kbps and guess what after every alternate month we were exempted from higher bandwidth and directly transferred to lower from first day of bill cycle. I suggested my roommate to change the connection but there was a problem they took around 1200 deposit for their hardware installed and that deposit will be refunded after 6 months. So we had to bear tikona for that time long. If you try to book IRCTC ticket from this connection then my friend you cant do that. Its against tikona rule.
Recently 7-8 months back when I shifted to new place I heard that tikona have improved their service. I searched on internet and contact them for new connection. I was interested in Rs.850/- plan. I know the risks I was taking but I thought lets give it a spin. After 4-5 days I received a call and message from a tikona. HE told me to pay Rs.4050/- which splits as(1000 installation+ 500 WIFI+ 850 X 3 3Months advance) and after this payment I can get operating internet within few hours. 4000 as down payment are u kidding me. I disconnected the call and thanks they never bothered me again.
If someone asks me about tikona internet I suggest them to take if they don’t have problem in life of he is fed up of life. Headache and no internet connectivity is guarantee rest is your LUCK.
