I took tikona connection only because in my society none else was available. So this was the only option I had.


firstly I would like to comment on the speed of connection.it is very poor. I was a user of airtel and I can understand how poor is the speed compared to airtel even after taking a plan of higher speed. the server would be down most of the time especially on saturdays and sundays


finally after calling 2-3 persons the connection was installed. and after few days we requested for a wifi modem at Rs75 per month. no problem till now.


the guy came with a modem.a local one.which was NOT working, he also advised us to not to take this modem instead buy our own good modem. so we bought our own modem. and started using it.


to our surprise the next bill had modem charges of Rs 75 extra added. we called and complained the customer service and he assured that it would be rectified and we would get the waiver.


again next month the same charges came and I called them up again and they told us that the last complained was closed but couldnt give us the reason for it. and marked a complain again.


this happened the third and 4th time as well. on 4th bill I decided not to pay until the issue was resolved . I called them and he assured that the case is pending I would get result by next day. next day the call is  transferred to someone else who gives another dead line and since then I have called around 10 times but still the next ie 5th bill has the same modem charges even though I didnt take it.


second example.


the internet service were down adn we called them up after 1 day since first we thought it was server issue as usual and would come up again after some time. so again the customer care guy registers a complain and tells that engg. will come by tomorrow evening. we waited.no one came again we called after2 days.again same assurance that the guy would come by tomorrow morning.no one came in the morning.finally after the 4th call and 10 days the engg. came and repaired the connection, .


but the good part is that the guy who came was very good and repaired it fast and with dedication


the Customer care of tikona is worst I have ever seen


Update:- applied for disconnection, after being completely frustrated with the service. but they are not even ready to disconnect. giving excuse like your number is not reachable.
