Usually this service is pre-paid where we pay in advance for the month we use. I used this service for more than a year, there speed is very less - 4MB. I planned to change for Actfiber. Before the billing period, I called to customer care rep and asked for the deactivation, they asked for reasons and taken a note but didn't disconnect the service. Again I followed up with them over email asking for deactivation, no response. Later this cunning guys called me that I am due for the on-going month. Then I sent an email stating that my initial request to disconnect the service was before the next month pre-paid billing period. So I asked them to waive off as per my rights.
After couple of emails exchange, finally they asked me to pay 232/- rupees which I denied as I usually pay a rounded figure which is more than the billing amount and my initial request was to disconnect before the billing period.
Here the actual cheater technique is they disconnected the service and every month they used to send a message adding 100/- rupees to 232/- rupees summing up. Yesterday, I received a notice email from legal that my due amount is Rs.632/- and they will take action for non-payment of dues and no one came to collect the modem.
I paid 632/- rupees and wanted to fight them in the law of justice.
My advice to all "Never take Tikona WiBro conect", they are cheaters and will not disconnect the services when requested and keep on aggregating the dues which we are not deemed to pay at all.
