I'm turning back to Mouthshut because while I was planning to buy a bike, I checked the reviews on mouthshut and I still believe that those reviews posted on this site came from people without prejuidice and were unbiased. So today I think i'm going to do the same and talk a little about "Tikona Wireless Broadaband Connection".
To get you started, Tikona sucks big time. I stay in a locality where they have a tower about 100 meters away from my house and I use a ethernet cable to connect to internet. While the connection came easy, as I didn't had to wait much( I called up one of their guys and he was there at my home knocking next morning), and there was no installation charges.
I should have reckoned that this is going to be a fishnet. I had a 256 Mbps plan which was for about 625 INR/month (including taxes) and which later got __upgraded__ to 300+ Mbps(i exactly do not remember, but i'm pretty certain it was somewhere close to 350 Mbps), but all their promises were just a bunch on lies and I must say, I get frusted almost everytime while I try to connect to internet. The speed is awfully slow and they do not even provide proper connection, they just send some guy whose gonna let the wire get into your house through your window while there is still a provision to wiring inside wall is available. This month I'm going to ask them to back out and I'm sure there are many other viable and better options available.
Bottom line: Tikona Wireless Broadband connection is sick and you are going to regret opting for it. Stay away from them.
