I don't know who categorised Tic Tac under chocolates, these are plain sugar lozenges. I used Tic Tac Mint.
Going by their own admission on the back label, which is so small that you you'll need a magnifier to read through, Tic Tac consists of 94% sugar. The net weight is just a little over 10 gms, so effectively you are paying Rs. 1 for .9 grams of sugar. I find it ridiculous, since our local mouth fresheners like Chloromint etc do the same job of freshening the mouth at a much lower price.
On closer inspection, I saw that Tic Tac is manufactured by Ferrero, and then things became clear. You play Rs. 4 for the product and Re. 1 for the plastic box that contains it, and the rest you pay for the brand.
So for sure, if you are brand conscious, and want to be noticed by others who are as brand conscious as you, this is the product for you. If you are someone who would do a cost versus return on investment analysis every time before making a purchase, this is not the product for you.
