One day, while I was tidying up my inbox, I found some Spicejet offers. I came across one I felt was useful to us, as we are now of a certain age - 62 and 57 - and need to know in what health condition we are. It was the very last day to send the required sms and it was quite late in the day. Nevertheless, the process proceeded quite smoothly.
The very next day I got an email from info@thyrocare.com: “We wish to inform you that Spicejet UDP offer @ Rs.1300/- for single person. Herewith enclosing the test details for your reference.”
I contacted them again to ensure I could arrange for 2 tests at that same discounted rate.
There were more communications to and fro as I needed to clarify things. Among others, I needed to know that the tests would be done early as we would be in fasting mode.
The technician arrived on time on the given date and the tests were performed quite efficiently. The results were also delivered via email the very next day.
The results are provided along with a reference frame and a way to see areas of concern highlighted. Thus, the consumer can print them out and take them to a doctor to find out what, if anything, needs to be done.
One can also Anasultanlyse the results online which is what I’m planning to do.
Today, digging out the details of this experience, I find that both Practo and Jet Airways had offered similar deals. In fact, Practo had it for much less.
Therefore, if you come across such offers it might be better to surf the Net to find if the same deal is offered cheaper elsewhere.
Lastly, I’m more than a little disturbed that our results were not put into an icebox in front of us. They were to be transported to Mumbai. How can one be sure the blood samples stay in good condition for testing.
Dear Thyrocare, please, in future, ensure that the customer gets a chance to see samples being transported in good and reliable containers.
