We were looking for a place near brigade road a few weeks back and had heard good things about the buffet- in fact had the buffet sometime back but never ala carte.

We were about 6 and thought- lets give it a try.

The place was open even at around 10:30 pm for us- normally we have had folks tell us closed even though they take orders till 11PM.

THe decor is average- going by the expectations since its located at church street and the look outside gave an impression of a nice place but its not something that puts u off. A little better lay out of the tables and maybe lighting will give a better look at night, in the day its fine

The food was eagerly awaited as all were really hungry

We ordered dry chicken- do not recall the dish name and dal, paneer dish, vegetable starter and vegetable dsh. SOrry that exact names of the dishes are not posted but let me tell u- the food was great. Serving size was optimal and the serving folks were v nice too.

Dry chicken was great and the rotis served were soft- all of us really enjoyed the food.

The total amount came to about 200rs per head which was really too less what we expected considering the quality we got and the experience.

Best part- we were talking and hanging around, none asked us to disappear- we moved outside and were sitting till late.

There is a lot of place so even with kids it should be fine. The wash area is a little shady- can be cleaner, as is with most places except the real upscale ones. Parking can be a pain if going in peak times-lunch or early evening else the rest is fantastic. They can make the experience better if they are little more better in decor and cleanliness..
