We took a tour called Sr Lankan wonders by Thomas Cook last December, hoping to enjoy the tour.
The problems started with delayed delivery of visas in Delhi and continued in SriLanka in the form of delayed transfer from the airport, missed dinners due to poor communication of the local team with the hotels where we were put up, bus not turning up at the appointed hours and missing guides.
We wasted time ringing up their local partners for help, arguing with them and requesting the hotels to provide us dinner.
This was not expected of Thomas Cook.
Time to look for a new travel company.
