I, alongwith my family have just returned from the “Exclusive Europe” tour package with the tour code TCEXAA0807 of Thomas Cook(India) Ltd. This was our first such tour and were quite anxious about how the tour was going to be. Before the start of the trip, I was trying to keep my expectations low to avoid disappointments later. We had lot of questions in mind like, whether they will cover all the listed items in the itinerary, will it be worth for the money we are paying, will we able to meet the hectic schedule of the tour manager, what will be quality of the food and will it be a decent accommodation, etc.
But I got a clue about the coming 16 days at the moment I came out from the London's Heathrow Airport after a long queue in the border police counter and after receiving the warm welcome by the officials from Thomas Cook(India) Ltd. We were more pleased when we met our tour manager Mr. Parvinder Singh at the hotel. His warmness and gesture made us feel really homely. He has treated each and every member of group like we are his own family member and made this trip so memorable. Throughout the tour, the knowledge he shared with us and the explanations he provided to us is tremendous and taken me back to the study tour of my collage days. His patience is really appreciable. He ensures that the important facts about any places / monuments are repeated at least three times before reaching the destination. Even though our package had a very tight schedule but everything was made so easy and smooth by Mr. Parvinder who made every effort to make us feel comfortable and enjoy the trip. The other fact which we noticed is, he is a familiar face to all the places wherever we have visited and that was an advantage to the entire team. He has got all the qualities of a good tour manager should have and his performance should be a benchmark to the other tour managers.
I would also gratefully mention another person who had been with us throughout our journey from Holland to Paris, that is our Coach Captain Mr. Senad Catit who left no stone unturned to give us a comfortable journey and drive us safely to all the places. He was exceptionally good and great driving experience.
We enjoyed a lot with the company of tour manager and the captian.
The tour manager, the coach captian, the coach, the hotels, the restaurants, the food, the members of the group, the whole journey was worth appreciation. Hats off to the Thomas Cook team for the micro level planning they have done to make us feel comfortable and enjoyable.
It was as if a dream turned itself into reality. 16 beautiful days of memories something that I will never forget in my life. We had a really mesmerizing experience of the Europe and have brought lots of beautiful and pleasant memories home to cherish.
Finally, We look forward to travel with Thomas Cook again.
