I had travelled to Europe through Tomas Cook on their Fusion Europe package from May 13- May 23
The planning and logistics looked like a well oiled machinery set by thomas cook for Fusion Europe trip. The schedules were right, stops for lunch/dinner meticulously planned to be at the right time, yet cover all the required places at a location.
Thanks to the Kammanahalli thomas cook office staff for arranging all the details including visa so well.
Special thanks to the tour guide Mr Ruffino D'souza, who had handled all the on tour aspects so well, we didn't feel any issues. His way of introducing us to the city being visited was unique and kept us interested while on the journey. His explanation on the background/History of the places being visited; shows his knowledge and the study he had done to give us the required information. The way room keys were distributed at the hotel or timing of the events maintained at each place spoke high of his co-ordination skills.
As Mr Ruffino had mentioned, Thomas cook seems to train their Guides so well, all these trip co-ordination seemed so easy for the travelers, but the complexities were abstracted from the travellers by the process Thomas cook followed and efforts Guideds put into to maintain it. Keep up the good work Thomas Cook. You and your staff I interacted with seem to live up to the standards you set for them, making Thomas Cook a great brand among tour operators.
Fusion Europe is a very good package in terms of places visited and spots covered in each place. It didn't appear tiring for my aged parents. Enough time was provided at each place that my Mom and Dad also could cover all the spots.
We had opted for all optional tours except Lido show. For people, who can't survive without Indian food for long, a tour operator is best method, as they stop at Indian hotels, except for optional meals, we had good Indian food at every place.
You can stop worrying about all logistical issues and enjoy the Trip, if you go with Thomas Cook for Fusion Europe.
The only shortcomings I could see was, Glass Factory and perfume factory visits could have been skipped. Paris may need some extra time, compared to one allocated for in Fusion Europe.
