We, my husband & I traveled most of India before, but when we decided to go abroad we choose Europe tour with Thomas cook. I must mention that the booking process was harrowing.It was my husband & I who kept calling for visa process. And we were never connected to the correct person.
Our original tour with Thomas cook'Avismarniya Europe' was cancelled after our UK Visa was approved. And that too after we ourselves enquired about it!
After much mental stress, we were shifted to the'Grand Bargain Europe Tour'.
And then the good part began!
The actual tour was heaven!
Our tour manager MAHESH PRATAP SINGH was really good. He would inform us of the geographical, cultural, and even political aspects of the places we visited. He was very caring of the whole group, esp. the senior citizens. An example of how he went out of the way to help the us was when I was fasting on a tour day. Since the lunch buffet didn't serve anything appropriate for my fast, Mahesh requested a hotel waiter to get me warm milk. I'll very grateful to him for that!
Mahesh would also tell us of the best places where one would get reasonable stuff to buy.
The hotels in the tour were beautiful, comfortable, clean and neat. The food at all hotels was excellent and yummy.
We had a great tour thanks to Mahesh, the drivers and the tour guides of different cities.
All in all, a wonderful experience!
