I studied in this college from 1993 to 1997.I am a student of EEE branch.I joined the college through merit.The college has good infrastructure to build career.Placement programs like campus interview is there.I got selected in a private concern through campus interview.When I studied as a student, tutors were very strict and disciplined.But now a days this college is not so good due to lack of good and skilled tutors.I worked in this college as lecturer.I was ordered to give notes during class hours.I told the principal to take action against this method as it is school like.I wanted students to learn through internet and use library regularly.My innovative method to suit the modern trend was not accepted by my peers.So I was harassed and I was terminated citing unavoidable reasons.They paid me only for one month.I did not get support from the administration side.The golden days of this college are gone.Extra curricular programs like sports, NCC etc are good.I was in NCC and also, I captained college hockey team during my final year B.E.Alumni network is available but not productive like other engineering colleges.For example, PSG is best for alumni program.I recommend to join TCE as a last option.Join only computer related courses as this college started behaving like a private computer instiute rather than a engineering college where a student has to gain skills in multi dimensions.Recently one of the professors got award from indian government.Nice to hear but the professor belonged to non engineering department.
