Theni is a right place to visit in summer time. Because it is a cool place and green place in the western hill range. It is situated and connected to madurai at a distance of 80 KM. Buses are available from madurai frequently. Madurai is my native place.
There are a lot of places to visit. In this some of the places are we can see repeatedly because we like very much.
For example megamalai, suruli falls, kumbakarai falls, Utchi nilai(Top station), Vaigai dam etc.
First one the megamalai situated 40 KM from theni which is a hill station place. we can enjoy the riding very much. Roads are clear and good to travel. Scenery is beautiful in the travel running. Nice place to see and all enjoy.
Next the suruli falls is the one that every person must come and enjoy the place and scenery. The falls water is a root water and contain natural medicine. so taking bath is good to health. From theni 56Km distance. we can not go there alone because not much safe.
Next the kumbakari falls is the another one falls situated in the distance of 25 KM from theni. It is a small falls and we can enjoy the movement very much.
Like that a lot of places are there to see. If someone want to stay means they can stay in theni itself because it is the right place and center place of tourist area.
Buses and taxis are available from theni to all the tourist places and safety also.
