Themobilechor.in. Review on Themobilestore

I had purchased a Samsung Galaxy Music Duos from themobilestore.in website on the 3rd of June 2013 and on the 5th I got a call from the confirmation department that they were out of stock and the order would take 15-20 more days.

But when I had booked the product not only was the website showing it as in stock, but I also got a confirmation that it would be dispatched within 3-5 days. It was on this basis that I paid the full amount by online banking, now I get a call saying that the product was out of stock when I ordered!

This is a highly dubious way for a supposedly reputable company to operate. Numerous sham online shopping websites use this method to take the customer’s money and earn interest on it while making the customer run from pillar to post for months to get either his money back or get the product. I have shopped from numerous websites like ebay, indiatimes, tradus, homeshop18 for the last 10 years and never faced this kind of pathetic customer service. The first time I make an online purchase from mobilestore and this is what I get!

I had not expected this from a group company of Essar. When I told this person called Chirag who called from the confirmation department to let me talk to a senior, he said there was no senior in his department. Then I asked for an email of some senior executive, he blatantly lied and said wecare@themobilestore.in was the email ID of the marketing manager!

I sent them not one but two emails to which they never bothered to reply, even though they claim they reply to all emails within 48 hours!

UPDATE: On the 8th I got a call saying they were cancelling my order! This time the person made some ridiculous excuse saying that Samsung has discontinued the model and there is no stock anywhere, whereas it is easily available on other online shops, in fact it is on HS18 mobile superdeals on this very day!

Mobile Store probably made a ton of money from the thousands of people who had booked from there(thinking they were getting good deals). They keep the money in the bank for 15-30 days and earn interest, then say they are cancelling the order!

What a bunch of cheats!
