Well this review takes me 10 years in the past.
When I was 12, I wasn’t watching cartoons all the time. May be couple of hours and mainly super hero cartoons…. Superman, batman, and shazam etc. but to tell you the truth there was nothing good on television.
So while flicking through channels I came across star TV (now star world) and I saw advertisement running of a new show called “ The X Files “ and the promo had mulder and scully running around with aliens, space ship, weird music. And got really interested. And decided to give it a try ….. Hell any ways there wasn’t anything good on television. So the coming Thursday I saw the show. And believe me when I say this …..
From that day on I was hooked
When I was 12 years old. There I was sitting on my sofa waiting with expecting breathes for my favorite show to start. And exactly at 9:00 pm Thursday it started “the X files” …….. Truth is out there!!!
So I here almost ten years latter after being a big fan of the show have decided to write a review on my favorite show

This is less a review more my tribute to a phenomenon called THE X FILES
It was pioneer in paranormal sci-fi shows.

Do aliens really exist?

And also who ever love the thrill of the unexplained……
It is story about the FBI agents AGENT FOX MULDER and AGENT DANA SCULLY. They are assigned to the FBI department of unsolved cases also know as “the x files”. One is believer and the other skeptic. And how both of them compliment each other in their work. And latter on go on and discover the biggest mysteries, their own government is hiding.
> AGENT FOX MULDER (David Duchovny)
Special Agent Fox Mulder showed an inclination for the offbeat from the beginning of his career. The Bureau recruited him after studying Psychology at Oxford. His writings on serial killers and the occult led to the capture of a notorious murderer.
He slowly developed an interest in the paranormal. When he discovered that his sister's abduction had no possible rational explanation, he became obsessed with uncovering the truths hidden in those cases, which were extraordinary, supernatural, or, in any way unexplained
The main reason for him pursuing the X files was the abduction of her sister
> AGENT DANA SCULLY (Gillian Anderson)
She is a medical doctor and has specialized in forensics. When she joined the Bureau, she had a strong sense of rationality and realism and always tried to find a scientific explanation behind every X-File.
She was asked to join the Bureau in order to debunk Mulder's outrageous theories of the supernatural. But while working on these cases, she came across many strange incidents, which were simply inexplicable. They were beyond all scientific explanation or logical thought.
Main reason to join was, she was forced into it. And also she wanted to see first hand why was mulder called spooky.
> WALTER SKINNER (Mitch Pileggi)
Walter Skinner is the Bureau's Assistant Director. He is an ex-Marine officer and has a keen sense of duty. He often loses his patience over Mulder's methods of investigation.
He was forced to shut down the X-Files, but decided to reopen them on his own authority. Skinner is torn between two conflicting forces: agents Mulder and Scully on one side, and the Cigarette-Smoking Man on the other.
So still it’s very difficult to say he is in which side, the good or the bad …… or as skinner goes in the winning side
> DEEP THROAT (Jerry Hardin)
He introduces himself with: ''I came here to give you some valuable advice'', and establishes a relationship with Fox Mulder, which gives a definite direction to The X-Files. He is pretty elusive and mysterious and often lures both Scully and Mulder in to cases that they might otherwise overlook.
> CIGARETTE-SMOKING MAN
The mysterious Cigarette-Smoking Man. Many believe him to be the head of the alien- human cross breeding experiment as he calls them human hybrids. Also responsible to abducting agent scully and also save her. Also is father of mulders half brother. And also was the member of the elite group of people in which the mudlers dad was also a part of.
The group tries to protect the world or it seems too.
After for mulder was abducted and went underground to save him and scully, entered new kids in the show (time went David left the show)
> AGENT JOHN DOGGETT (Robert Patrick)
Agent John Doggett joined the FBI from the New York City Police Department, where he served as a Detective in the Fugitive Division's Warrant section. Approaching all of his investigations like a doubting cop, he believes that everything can be explained with standard police techniques. So it is no surprise that after only five years at the Bureau, he is assigned by Deputy Director Kersh to run the task force looking for Mulder. Although he may be set up to fail, Doggett has resigned himself to solve the case.
Agent Doggett also has one big mystery, which till date makes him question everything. His child was killed and abducted (disappeared?) by unknown people (when he was looking out for the child). He tried to catch the killer, has come close.

Monica Reyes first came into contact with John Doggett when working on the disappearance of his son.
She used to work in the New York field office of the FBI, but is no stranger to the unknown. She majored in folklore and mythology at university, and her first FBI assignment was working on a special task force investigating satanic abuse.
So this is the x files world ….. Isn’t it filled with paranormal activities?
It is sad that the x files series had to come to an end. But as we sat every good thing has an end ?? does it ..??
Will the x files phenomenon die ?
Or will the x files be re-opened
