The Weekly Standard is an influential political newspaper. It is one of my standards I depend on to be in the 'know'. It is an often quoted venue on news programs and by political pundits of all political agenda. Only on the American scene sinse 1995, it has climbed into the spotlight and into a major competition in American homes. But, they do also have a world wide distribution. With on-line ability on their site, they keep you informed and those updates you need are just a click away. This periodical is produced by some of America's broadest and strongest journal writing authorities. There are many contributors who make the political scene on nightly news 'talking heads' programs on both FNC {Fox News Channel} and CNN.

This ability to have major spinners from major parties is one of the fairest magazines that I know of in their reporting. The Weekly Standard has a lot under their cover. Besides its investigative reporting on major political news, they report on social , cultural events and also cover essays and reviews of music and books. Watching C-Span journals in the morning, I have often heard all political parties quote The Weekly Standard to back up their sourcing. So, the honesty is there.
