The Urg house is nicely located in the lower ground of Crowne Plaza, Faridabad. I walked in and bought an abacus styled toy for my kid. The collection of toys looked to be nice and he was selling pirated Xbox & Playstation games. The toy was not costly just Rs 125 and it was a diwali gift for my kid. But when I came home and opened it, the toy was defective. The top lid came off and as a result all the rows came out and it was un-playable.
I took it to the shop and they refused to replace it and first said that we would have broken it. One thing I fail to understand that why the companies in India do not own up their responsibility, why all the times the customer has to bear the brunt of things. This is not a matter of a few hundred rupees but it is a matter of how companies and shops perceive customers.
Anyhow, I fixed the toy and my kid could play but I vowed not to buy from that shop again.
