To all that my fellow MSians have written about helping the victims of the Tsunami, I wish to add just one point.
These people are not ''charity cases''. They have lived their lives with dignity making their own living till this disaster struck.
So please in your zeal to help them in their hour of need do not donate all those things which were lying in your house waiting for the kabadiwalla. Before donating any material items, please ask yourself'are these fit to be given to a friend? Only if the answer is in the affirmitive go ahead and donate.Donate less but donate new.
These people have lost their material possessions , but by your thought essness
Please do not take away their dignity. No self respecting person would like to take charity. Unfortunately, these people have to for their immediately survival.
Let us all help them like a friend helps a friend.
