The Times of Ignominy-can be the best again. Review on The Times Of India

At the outset,before I really begin this review, trust me when I say, I used to be The Times of India's greatest fan, at a time,when the paper was brilliantly edited, tackled real social,cultural and political issues,had superb content and was well and truly among the global leaders like the International Herald Tribune, USA Today, Izvetsia, etc.

Alas, look at what commercialism has done to it now.The content quality is abysmal.Among the more popular contents are ''Women's liberation''.Alright.Don't get me wrong here, the Delhi edition needs content that addresses the very high crime rate here in gender divided New Delhi.

So, do we have sharp and crisp editorials and articles addressing the whys and the hows?No, what we get every morning instead is farcical content that deals amongst other things, on how to please your women,with weddings, make up,and other irrelevant issues.

From a leading national daily to a tabloid with all the sophistication of a women's magazine, this paper has really nosedived.

Soon, the only readership left in New delhi for this once esteemed publication will be perverts and ''page three'' people.Who cares about all the dying and destitute?All the downtrodden and the deprived?The thirsty and the hungry?The weary and the wronged?

Hmm, once upon a Time, it used to be the ''Times of India'',......I think(hope) it can be once again.
