I had subscribed for Times of india through an annual subscription offer few weeks back. The paper was supposed to be starting delivery from 01 Nov. So far I have not received any. I was given RRE( code 0130) Mr. Sebastin's number, but it turned out to be fake.
I have called help desk multiple times and got no response. Today even got abused by a customer support representative who said, " The paper will be delivered when they wanted it to and there is no use complaining. "
I guess Times of India group is trying to collect some money illegally to overcome some financial issues and cheating customers knowing that they will nt go beyond shouting in social net work forums and that will not impact TOI much. They had promptly cashed my check, but no paper yet.
Planning to put a case in consumer court if more people can join.
