I have all ways had an interest in H.G Wells books, ''The Time Machine'','' The Invisible Man'', and of course
''The Island Of Doctor Moreau'', The War Of The Worlds'', and ''Short Stories''. He was born in 1866 in Bromley, Kent.
My favourite is the original movie from the 60's classic movie, ''The Time Machine''.
The classic has creatures that look something like a caveman with a little mutant creature look, not too far fetched.
I still liked the effects when H.G. Wells builds a sitting
machine, a cross between swamp boat and a ski doo with a giant disc that rotates to different years in the past and the present and the future.
Now this machine you can actually view in a museum somewhere in the states.
The museum of H.G. Wells does exist.
The recent movie is great also, I like a lot of special effects.
The creatures are way too much in the re-make. I do agree.
Then again it's only a movie.
I recommend for anyone who has not seen the original classic to rent it and then watch the re-make.
You will see the difference of the two.
