There are now so many bakery shops popping out here and there in Kolkata that it is hard to keep count of all of them. But sure enough, we have popular names like the Mio Amore(The Monginis, formerly), Kathlene, The Sugarr and Spice etc. I do not exactly know when did The Sugarr and Spice first opened in Kolkata but I have been to several of their branches many a times. So when it comes to the variety of both sweets and spicy, The Sugarr and Spice does not succeed to make a big impression. There are much less varieties and much lower qualities. Prices are apparently low but if you compare them with the quantity provided, you will find that the prices should be even more lower. And then at some branches, the service boys or girls are pretty reluctant, uninterested and inattentive. All in all, The Sugar and Spice is not a pleasant experience.
