Back in the early 80s, a series of brutal murders held Bombay in thrall. The victims were all pavement dwellers, killed in their sleep, with the same weapon: a big, heavy stone which was used to smash their heads.
The killer was dubbed `Patharmaar' in the press, and with passing time and no results, the case got buried, and forgotten.
Taking its premise from those incidents and referring to media coverage of the case, writer-director Manish Gupta constructs a screenplay that is derived from hard facts where available, and imagination to fill in the gaps, and at the end he comes out with a product which is nothing less than extraordinary.
Now I will come back on what I like doing, "GIVE YOU THREE REASONS TO GO AND WATCH THIS FLICK".
1) KK, KK and KK, what does this guy eat in breakfast?
He is just excellent, I dont want to go in depth and discuss how good he is in this movie, I would leave this on YOU to go and check out.
2) BACK GROND SCORE: The back ground score of the movie is perfect and sets the mood of the movie .
THIRD AND THE MOST IMPORTANT REASON: An Engaging and truly taut thriller this movie is a welcome change from all the movies running in theatres, there are enough scenes in this movie which will run a chill in your spine, shot mostly in dark night and in actual /natural locations this movie has hanfull of shocking moments.
*I'm surprised why mouth shut has only five reviews listed for this movie, infact I believe that there are many here who are completely movie buffs and they dont miss catching good movies and penning it down sharing their experience, is it bcoz we all are waiting for Delli 6 or we like watching movies only with huge and over paid /over hyped stars?
Infact last night when I went to a nearby multiplex to book my tickets I was been told on the counter that maybe we have to cancell the show as there are not many bookings for this movie luckily for me the show started as per the schedule time with 6 people sitting in the entire theater, infact that time for a second I thought that maybe this movie is a crap and I was mentally prepared that I may spend those 2 hrs talking to my GF, **DAMN I NEVER GOT THAT CHANCE .and thats the only complaint I had after watching this movie.
*Highly recommended, Go catch this movie before this movie is out of the theatres which i'm sure unfortunately it would be soon.YOUR FEEDBACK ON MY REVIEW WOULD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED.
