Beautifully written. Deconstructs Memory and suggests that memory is not as credible as it appears to be. The book makes you think and view your life from different time frames. He's come up with gems to drive home his point like - When your a young you imagine building a different future and when you are old you imagine re-creating a different past.
You can decide how to live your life but what you can't decide is outcome of it, it's a flow. Book define very aspect of life without being in someone's favour or against it. And one thing that hit me strongly is, your actions maybe you feel it right at the time but it's still can haunt you as a nightmare you've never dreamed about.
Truly emphasis Barnes saying that he does not begin writing a novel till he knows he is going end it. With sufficient pholosophical innuendo The Sense of an ending is a very though provoking novel that is to be savoured and not gulped down. Must read.
