Unprofessional Couriers. Review on The Professional Couriers

I ordered a pair of winter gloves on Shopclues on 12 October 2015. It took shopclues 3 days to handover the item to courier. But that's not the problem. The problem was it handed over to "The Professional Couriers" on 15 October 2015. I had no experience with this "un"professional courier, I was suspicious. Then I immediately checked its reputation on Mouthshut.com & found that it is one of the worst courier service.

I thought whether I was going to get the item delivered to me or not. And the tracking information was not available for 2 days. It showed up after I contacted shopclues staff. After 2 days, on 17 October 2015, the item was dispatched to Kolkata. Then there was no tracking update. 10 days passed. Then it showed that the item is dispatched to Bhubaneswar. Before it was dispatched to Bhubaneswar, Shopclues sent me mails that my item was delivered to me. I thought that the item was not even reached Bhubaneswar, how can Shopclues update such fraudistic notifications? I replied to the shopclues customer care & they said that the courier partner had shared their delivery details, that's why they updated the delivery details.

The item reached at Bhubaneswar on 28 october 2015. I hoped that they would probably deliver the item that day or the next day. But no. On 29 october 2015, I received a call from the "un"professional courier's local office saying that the item has reached & asked me to collect it from their office(at least they called me, thanks to them). When I asked them that why it can't be delivered, they said that my area is not deliverable for them. OK. So the next day I went to their office which is 15 kilometers away & received the item. They were courteous there.

In total it took 16 days to deliver the item & that is not home delivery.
