POOR UNRELIABLE SERVICES OF PROFESSIONAL COURIERS. Review on The Professional Couriers

I wish to voice my opinion on this PROFESSIONAL COURIERS, which I was given to understand are the best to deliver any consignment to the remote part of India.

I experienced it very well last week while I had to deliver an urgent parcel to my friend at  Ernalakulam containing medicines etc, weighing less than a kg, paid Rs. 80/- on 29th April 2008 from Thane Office.

On 5th when I checked with her, she said it is not received, so immediately I checked at Professional Couriers  Cochin office and lodged a complaint with Mr.Arun with complaint.no. 9918 and asked me to check with their Trivandrum Office.  When contacted at Trivandrum office they first said it has been delivered on 3rd May and then when I told it has not been received the person concerned in the office said lazily checking the consignment no. 600411 that the parcel  is with still with them and promised me that it would be delivered.

Now again on 6th May at 4.00 p.m I checked with Trivandrum office on 2408922, they told me that it will be delivered to Ernalakulam by 7.00 p.m, I also informed their Cochin Office about the non delivery of the parcel and asked them to follow it up, so Mr.Arun assured me that he would do so.  So finally now that consignment had to reach my friend so that she could carry with her to UK, told me at 10.00 p.m night that the consignment has not been reached.

Finally now today 7th May at 10.30 a.m when I again call Trivandrum Office on this tel.no. 2408922 the person concerned tell me another big fat lie that the telephone nos. mentioned on the parcel is not reachable, while all the while I have been communicating the party on the same number.  How lethargic and irresponsible employees have Professional Couriers have appointed that they have no courtesy to say sorry nor have any responsibility towards their jobs.  I told him that now it is useless sending the parcel to Ernalakulam because my friend waited and has left for UK this morning.  This matter was again reported to Customer Care cell at Cochin on 2390825 and the person in charge tells me after hearing my story how did the parcel reach Trivandrum, so I told him that I'm not working at Professional Couriers or else I would have only delivered the parcel.  And he also agreed that I will not have to pay for resending the parcel back to me.   What a way to handle the customer complaint, he is asking my opinion what to do. Is it professional or unprofessional.

The amount of mental harrassment  and wastage of telephone calls made to  southern region office of Professional Couriers is huge AND IRREPAIRABLE. For the medicines promised to be sent at still lying here.  It was a waste of money . Now I fear whether I will get my parcel in proper conditon back.  The medicines which was supposed to be delivered has remained here.  What in case I had life saving medicines to be delivered, can it be relied on the Professional Couriers.  Now with this bad experience I urge all the mouth shut readers to be aware of their services.  Their names has to be changed to UNPROFESSIONAL COURIERS BY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE, LACKING RESPONSIBLITY, NOT DEDICATED TO THEIR PROFESSION.
