I had sent a a gift to my family member in Kolkata from Bangalore on 20th Sep 2011 via professional courier, lingarajpuram office. Courier was sent to two different address in Kolkata. The promise was within 48 hours the same will be delivered. They kept the promise delivered 1 pkt at the designated address on 21st evening and the other till now is not traceable. I called there HUB office in kol on 22nd logged a complaint my complaint no was 238( a very unlucky no I guess) this was the last conversion which I had fruitful. Post that when ever I have dialed 033 241983334/35/36 it gets connected after minimum of 15 calls and when they connect it is kept on hold for minimum 10 min once I give the complaint no,
On 24th I called them to check the status. They said it is sent to Jadavpur branch gave a no of the branch and asked me to speak to Mr Chandru, he after getting the address said that they don't deliver it to Kol 84 pin and the taratala branch does it he gave the no of taratala branch. When called they laughed at me and said how we can deliver when we don have the same. On 24th even my brother called who is in kol to find out locally to his surprise one gentleman from the agency called and asked the direction as if he has the courier and post that no response in that no also.
Yesterday when I went to the ligrajpuram office they were helpful but of no use and at the same time I tried kol hub office the lady who took the call at 241983334 asked for additional 2 days to trace .
Just imagine a courier sent on 20th TO KOL FROM BLR is untraceable.
One thing which I realized post this that either USE DHL or DTDC by paying more or send via Speed POST . I spent 120 for sending this courier and another 300-400 worth of calls charges,
Friends please do send any thing via professional I have lost 2500 worth of items you please don't lose not to trust the Professional courier specially the one in the Kolkata.
