Absolutely Irresponsible. Review on The Professional Couriers

I am just recovering from the shock of almost losing my son's admission to a postgraduate course by courtesy of Professional Couriers. I mailed some original documents from Cumbum to Ludhiana on 27 Feb. The Cumbum office said I could use their "Pro Premium" service which was secure and fast. I shelled out Rs.150 in place of Rs.50 for the ordinary service. Delivery at Ludhiana was promised on 2nd March. On 1st March, I tried to track the consignment, and to my surprise, their own webpage rejected the consignment number saying "this number does not belong to Professional couriers". Posted a complaint on their customer service, no reply after 5 days. From 2nd March I kept calling Cumbum, Ludhiana and Chennai several times.

Ludhiana office too said the number was not correct. After so many phone calls (would have spent much more for the calls than the high rate I paid for the courier service!), today(5th March) around 12 noon, the consignment was collected personally from the Ludhiana office. This is the height of negligence and irresponsibility. Why did the Cumbum office provide me with an invalid consignment no., bar code and all? Why the total silence from Customer Care? Today I tried to post a complaint again, but the page repeatedly says "there is an internal error. Please go to login page." Extremely disgusting. Will use this Courier never again.
