The Princess and The Frog by Ron Clements & John Musker

The movie was a great watch and it had a little twist from the original.
Tiana, dreams of running a restaurant and taking it to heights. As a child she hears the Prince and the Frog’s story and hated the idea of kissing a frog just to get her dream boy.
Little she knew that she had to kiss one when she would grow up.
She grows up working really hard, collecting money to put her dream to reality.
Then comes a party where she meets Prince Naveen who was morphed into a frog. N he bribes her that he would open her a restaurant if she kisses him to get him back in his original self. What he did not know was… Tiana was not a Princess. And ONLY, if a Princess kisses a cursed frog he would turn to normal state.
So when Tiana, who is not a Princess, kisses him… she too turns into a froggie…
I wouldn’t get into what happens at the villain’s end cz I did not like those shadows much. They were more of irritating than dangerous to me.
So in the beginning both of them loathe each other. The Prince, being a Prince doesn’t know any kind of work coz he was born with a silver spoon which made Tiana the froggie even more bugged coz she had to do all the work.
Anyways… the story continues… the Prince froggy starts having a soft corner to softest corner for Tiana and Tiana just starts tolerating and liking him as a human.
When the good witch tells them to be kissed by a Princess b4 midnight and they couldn’t make it, they end up being froggies but the good part was they come to know they both loved each other.
So when the 2 froggies get married in the jungle, Tiana froggy becomes a Princess and so when she kisses after the “I dos’” they both come to their real body.
In the end, Tiana builds her dream restaurant and Prince who loves music along with other friends they make in jungle, they play happily ever after in it.
I wouldn’t forget mentioning ‘the glowing bug n the star’ love story. It was too heart-taking.
The effects, lighting, texturing n modeling was amazing… the animation esp. of the 2 frogs brought about a perfect humour.
Enjoyed the movie and am sure everyone including the 150 kids [approx] in the hall did. :)
