Masterpiece, worth watching. Review on The Pianist Movie

Was feeling a bit restless the other night and decided to surf channels to kill time when I switched on to star  movies in late night and was compelled to view the entire movie without switching channels in between. This is a movie with a lot of emotions, drama, family bonding, relationships and human element in play and would appeal to people who look for a different kind of cinema.

The characterisation, locales and camera work are good and one really gets immersed with the pains and sufferings given to jews . needless to say  the depiction of war crimes really make us think how miserably the polish jews suffered in hands of germans(its  a real story , about a polish pianist, not a fictional one).Not for people who like to watch routine hollywood kind of movies, but certainly a cinematic lovers choice.One of the better works of roman polanski.
