Well if you are a student just out of school and are experiencing a nerve racking of selecting which college you have to get into to lay the best foundatipon to your futuer then look no further than than ''National Institue Of Engineering'' situated in the beautiful city Mysore..
The college was started way back in 1946 when three eminent engineers planned that it was time to spread quality education to the students of Mysore and so it stated off with the college offering diploma courses in Civil and slowly it spread on to Electrical and Mechanical..And it is the second oldest college in Karnataka to provide technical education..
The college is situated at the heart of the city..The college is surrounded by aesthetic beauty and provides the students the best environment to study..The faculty are excellent and are always helpful to the student.And the classrooms are excellent to say the least.They are spacious and accomaodate about 90 students.There are about Three floors and are assingned to students of different semesters.
As far as teaching is concerned it is the very best .The lecturers are very polite and very helpful to the eager students but very strict on the bad ones(as they should be)..your doubts can be clarified at any time of the working hours which is b/w 9-5..And punctuality is one of the most important things that has to maintained in the college..Carelessness would be more often forgiven but not irregularity and is one of the most important things that the college has managed to maintain over the years..
As far as any techinial institution goes the 2 L's are very important and they are Labs And Libraries..Labs have been provided with excellent facilties that the student feels at ease the moment he steps into it and each own gets his own equipment for his use..There are around 300 systems for the computer students and a huge mechanical workshop..The electronics lab is good and so is the Physics and Chemistry labs..after all it has been teaching for over 50 years and you can not find faults in such things..And the libraray is huge and you might get lost searching for the books though you will eventually find the book of your choice..from java to the Hydrodynamics to advanced elctronics you find everything..such is the variety of the library..
And if you wondereing how to get into the college then you better get your boks and start studying for the next years entrance for that is the only way you can get admission into the colleg..and with the reputataion that goes with the college I will guarantee you that it won't be easy getting into it..but work hard and it will be worth it..
This college is affiliated to the VTU,one of the most reputed universities in India..Take my word a student of this college that the college will be a paradise for any one who is interested gaining quality education..All the best
