If you have seen the first movie “The Mummy”, then you just have to see part two. I feel this movie does justice to sequels. Most sequels are boring and you can normally figure out what is going to happen next, but not with the Mommy Returns. I rented this movie over the weekend, and I just loved it. Not only did I rent it so that I could watch Brendan, but also I wanted to see if he ever married Evie.

Plot
The movie begins in 1933, ten years after Rick and Evie’s last adventure in the first movie. Rick and Evei got married and they had a son named Alex, who was 8 years old at this time. They all 3 decided to take an adventure because Evie was having dreams of a place that seemed so real to her. This is where the movie begins. While Rick and Evei were exploring the halls of this castle or what ever it once was, their son Alex was playing around by himself trying to make a mouse trap. Then all of a sudden 3 men appeared and Alex hides on top of a big standing platform. Meanwhile Alex’s parents have uncovered the bracelet of the Scorpion King. They opened the box, and all of a sudden things started to shake. Bradon wanted to know what the box read, so Evie started to read the inscription on the box. The box read as follow: “Who ever opens this box shall drink of the Nile.” Now that didn’t seem too bad now did it? That is what Evie thought. Then all a sudden the waters started to pour into the hallways. They ran for their lives, but were unable to escape the fast moving waters of the Nile. They were forced into a dead end, and the water was flowing faster and deeper. Their son however had a little problem, the men that were there earlier had found out that he was and before they escaped they pulled the foundation off the tower that Alex was on. Thus leaving the tower to fall and knock down the pillars in the room. To Alex’s surprise this is the one thing that saved his parents life, but he thought he was the one responsibility for the troubles.
What Rick and his wife didn’t know was that an evil man wanted to bring back the mummy from the first movie. He wanted him to fight against the Scorpion and his army. They raised the mummy and took it to a British Museum. They were not able to do anything until they had the bracelet, and that is when they kidnap Alex. So now Rick and his wife and the rest of the crew need to find out where their son had been taken too. Their search would lead them to many fears they once faced, and to conquer the evil mummy once again. The only difference is that Evie keeps having dreams, and then she finds out that in her past life she was the daughter of the pharaoh, and she was to protect the bracelet from anyone stealing it. She also found out the true past of the mummy and his love, the lady who was to marry the pharaoh in the first movie, but ended up killing herself. Not only do they have to kill the mummy once again, but also now they have another bigger fight upon their hands. The Scorpion King and his army. Two evil men to kill, and just a few men to help them do it.
Conclusion
I really loved this movie; I like the man who helps Rick and Evie out. He was a brave man and he didn’t want to let the world be taken over by the Scorpion and his army. If you seen part one then I suggest you watch this one. It has many action parts and thrills and love of course. I really think its worth the price you will pay to rent or buy this movie.
