I had read this book around 3 years back when I had completed my graduation but I dint get admission in any good MBA college. At time I was almost cut with my friends and not enjoying my life then I decided to start reading novels. I read some starter novels like Financial experts, 5. some 1, one night at call centre, parineeta, pride and prejudise but I dint feel any change in my self.
I was awaire that reading is good hobby but I was not reading right kind of books, then one of my friend told me about Robin sharma's The monk who sold his ferrari. I was not awire that its a self help book, I read it in thought of being a story book.
It started well just like a story but as I continue reading it, it feels very captivating. I read the whole book in continuous spread of 3 days.
There was a old lawyer who was so busy with his profession and work that he lost ever bit of happyness of his life. His family left him and he was flooded with his works. he always remain so busy that he lost his health and one day he was so sick that while arguying he felt unconscious in court room.
Then he left every thing his home, money, work and his most loveable Red Ferrari car. He went to himalya in search of peace. There he heard about monks who live longer. Hardly he found them and became their subordinate . He learned technicques to live a lively life by following 7 virtues in life which are enlisted in a small fable of light house.
The techniques are explained in details in that book and by following them every one of us are able to transform our lifes. its written in a very simple language so a beginner can also read it.
everyone of us should read it itsreally very interesting.
