<Ok I watched this movie last weekend and just wanted to write a review on it…so I can tell you guys how great this movie is….so I had to request the ms people to add it..and they did ..thanx
Now….about the movie
Trust me…This movie will give you chills, gives you Goosebumps, make you angry, make you cry, shocks you, u are left thinking what did just happened?
NO, its not a scary movie, its not romantic…it’s a real life story of DAVID GALE
Professor Gale (Kevin Spacy) teaches at University of Texas, Austin. He is also an activists against death penalty. His best friend, Constance(Laura Linny) is also one of the activists.
A man who doesn’t believe in death penalty is 4 days shy to that penalty himself. He is wrongly convicted of raping and killing his friend, Constance. He knows that he didn’t do it…but who did and why is he being framed?
Constance was raped (Gale’s semen was found), she was found naked – hand-cuffed, bruised naked body, bag over her face…her only “key” to freedom was in her stomach (somebody had made her swallow the key).
{Does that description of the murder gives you chills…if that’s not enough, you actually get to see how the murdered did it – step by step) – I m sure you will be crying and will be shocked when you see it.
He agrees to give an interview to a reporter, Bitsy (Kate Winslet). He tells his story to a reporter through a series of flashbacks. … Bitsy is sure that David did it but as he tells her … she is left confused. Bitsy finds herself being followed by some cowboy… she gets a video tape of the murder…??? ( I don’t want to reveal too much so I really can’t tell you)
Let me leave you with these questions…till you watch the movie and get the answers yourself.

! Or did David Gale did it – he is just lying?
! Why is being framed and by whom?
! Would Bitsy have enough time to save him from the death row?
! Who is this cowboy?
! Who is sending her the video tape?
! Why did Constance had to die…who hated her that much to torture her?
Aren’t you wondering yet?
Let me tell you…@ the end u will be left speechless..and with a “Oh my god” on ur face and tears coming out..
Acting by all is excellent.
Finally I get to see Kate Winslet after Titanic, she is really good! Kevin Spacey as a wrongly convicted man is just excellent. Laura as a fighter, an active activist against Death Penalty is good.
This movie is toooooooooo GOOOD! I m not kiddin…I really am not a fan of Hollywood movies…but this is it! I really don’t cry over movies either but I found myself suddenly crying…just busted out in tears…
I don’t know what else to tell you….this movie should be on ur MUST WATCH list!
Trust me, when I say it’s a good movie it means Great!!! So catch it now! And find out why am I so ecstatic about this movie!
Go to Blockbuster and rent it!! Goooo……still here….Goooo…..sunta nahi kya….?
