Staying in leela Place Bnagalore is like an Illusive Dream Experince, The ambience right from the main porch which is known as Peacock Lounge to the Minitiature Garden added with a beutiful man made Waterfall transport you to the bygone era of Royalty & Blue Blooded Hospitality Standards.

Well if you are paying around Inr 15000 for a standard Room per Night then you do have the right to ask for the Lap of Luxury. What really defines Luxury in Leela Place bangalore is the Ambience, Decor & Architecture. Everything is so perfect practical as well as bestowed with Royal Feelings. Whats really come out on face is the product so refined which can be compared to the best Hotels in world like Ritz Carlton Paris or Mandarin Oriental HongKong.

The only dampner is the Service Standards which least to say are just Slow & less then even a Average. Firmly Belive that Staff is not looked after well in this Hotel as it can bee seen in there Body Language & Faces which reminds me of them as prisoners in Palace.

The best part of the Hotel is Royal Club which is situated on the 5th 7 6th Floor.

Billiard Room, Exclusive French Restaurant are really up to the standards set up by the Architecture & Ambience. Icing on the Cake is a champagne Room where you can have Worlds few of the most expensive & rare wine Bottles. So I wasn't surprised when Lunge staff told me entry to it is only through the Invitation from Exexcutive Commitee Employee or a General Manager.

It could have been the finest Hotel in India experince wise if it pull up its socks on service standards.

Reservation is easily available on the net but standard rooms are never advertised on that, Its Adviced to call up Hotel reservation Directly two moth Prior to make reservation as its always Full which at the rate of $500 a room night is really an achievement.
