Well, I know it's a little over priced for Goa lovers, since most of us are youngsters dying to get out of our cities. But believe me, even if you are not staying at The Leela Palace, you ought to see it people. The best management is what I found there, they treat you like you are their privileged customers.
The lagoon suite has a balcony facing a beautiful lagoon, and when you step out of the room, 3 mins walk and u are at the beach. With the beach, I mean the cleanest beach that I have seen in India, seriously. And if you think 3 mins is too much of a walk for you, call them and they send a Golf-Cart lookie outside your room in a minute. It's fun, you can even cycle around, they have a well equipped gym, a massage parlor, a games parlor, you name it.
I suggest everyone to go have a look at the palace, which is the best resort in India. I will rate it as a Pride for the country.
