The experience with the faculties is very nice, not all the faculties though. they are truely helpful to us for our studies, and on the other hand are unbiased in providing us the grades. many teachers here are P.hd and hence are well qualified and knowledgeable both. student to faculty ratio has been not good since the entry of the batch of year'16. almost 125 students sit in one class, where it is still 60-70 in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year. various teaching methods are used, where practical exposure is provided on a regular basis. the attendance being one of the major functioning, as the college is 100% residential, helps teachers to finish the course early, and taking along all the students. the interaction with teachers is more, cause many teachers too reside in the campus itself. 3-4 quizzes in the whole semester are taken in each subject, and there are mid-semester exams and end-semester exams in a gap of almost 2 to 2.5 months. lab sessions have a important weight-age in the curriculum, and a lab missed is taken seriously by the course instructors. Small research works and projects are started in first semester itself, in order to give a regular exposure of higher studies. tutorials are kept every weak(in the time-table) just to clear doubts and solving assignments given in the past weak. and the student-faculty ratio in such batches is quite less, being just 40:1 as the tutorial batches are the fragments of original batches and not the whole sections. the course curriculum is useful and is accordance with the overall development and the requirements by any company to have a good job.
going with the internet facilities, wifi is provided at academic area, library and canteen area, that means no wifi at hostels and other common areas. the speed avalable is pretty cool(5-6 mbps avg.) though. then the labs are very well equipped, and are well maintained. the class rooms are though just ok in comparision to the labs. the new classrooms made are nice. library is one of the best feature in the college, where it is not only big, but it has almost all variety of books and in a good number. medical facilities available is at best, with an ambulance, and 24 hour support in case anything happens. sports culture is going great, while there are some glitches in football and cricket, where there are no lights, so you cant play in night. other than that, there are volleyball, tennis, badminton, and squash courts. table tennis, chess, boxing, karate are also given an equal watch. what it lacks is a auditorium and a swimming pool. the canteen has 2 shops, and one restaurant, quality being nice at all three, with reasonable pricing. coming to hostels, its been a headache while we first came, as the college had a shortage of accommodation, so students living in jaipur weren't given the hostels, but later as the building was already under construction, the hostels were provided in a span of two months. construction of more hostels has already been started taking in consideration of the coming batch. the quality of old hostels is not so good, there are a bit of sanitation problems, and a bit of mosquito problems too.
and now the placements have been all around good in all the years, this year getting an awesome hike, nearly 100 students applied for various internships, and were placed with a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000. in the first 4 months, around 160 students got placed, with average pay package of Rs. 7.4 lakh per annum. keeping in this mind that this is all from the 324 students enrolled in the final year, its a god ratio. the companies which came includes amazon, microsoft, samsung, sapient, blackngreen, infoobjects, hcl, mcafee, mindtree, hackerearth, infosys, cisco, huawei, cognizant, flipkart.com, and many more. there were 6 students this year, who cleared G.SOC. both core and non-core jobs were offered to the students.
