Cinematography:

story: a gripping storyline, of a prince who has stammer voice. his father george is suffering with some problems. as time approaches, father is no more and his brother take up the king rule. with his illegal affair, berty makes him to abdicate the throne and take his place as king. at the speech, he succumbs to failure and people write messages God Save our King.  can berty overcome the problem and emerge as a successful king? is the story about!

screenplay: when a health condition is involved in the story, screenplay must have a motivating wife and a perfect doctor on board. doctor lion is perfect and he has done justice in making berty realizing his responsibilities. his wife is equally good and supportive. the other casts are there for some importance. the movie begins with a speech that has no mark and ends up happily and satisfying. the whole movie is about berty and his life. he tries to overcome the problems, but yet he faces some troubles. finally has he overcome the problem is the climax.

direction: wtih a stammer, a doc and a wife all we need is emotionally satisfying performances. picture perfect direction is the key. the lead casts have done  a great job and there is life in the characters.

casting: colin firth, geoffrey rush and helena bonham carter are perfect for the story. colin has done a good job. geoffrey rush is the show stealer. helena is supportive and lovable wife to berty. micheal gambon was good in his short role. rest were ok.

editing: with such a strong script, one always needs the momentum ticking down. nearly perfect editing ensured to develop interest in watching the movie. it is a movie of only dialogs .hence bringing interest among viewers is the key and it scores 100% in terms of editing and placing scenes appropriately.

cinematography and camera: the visuals were pleasant and reflected the london 1935 era. camera movement and takings were appreciable in a nutshell.

music: not always but was pleasant and soothing enough during the emotional scenes. the climax had a motivating tune.

final review: the movie began well. it went good for 45 minutes. then it went on the slow side for about 20 minutes. the last 20 minutes was again a pick up. the climax is good. movie opened with a message and conveyed perfectly in the end. a perfect movie worthy for an oscar. do not miss it!
