As a 90's kid Jungle Book really grow into me. We had to chose between SRK's "Fan" & The Jungle Book, thank god we decided to watch this movie and that to in IMAX. Such a visual treat. Jon Favreau did the magic with CGI. What a lovely graphics. You won't gonna believe that nothing in the movie is real except Mowgli/Neel sethi. Everything is CGI, which is fabulous.
That little kid Neel Sethi is much more talented then any other superstar. Such a brilliant acting at this age, totally surprised. He did awesome job as Mowgli, his emotions, his dialogue delivery everything is 10/10. Do not forget that this is all done in front of Green screen, most popular superstar too fumbles at this kind of movie making but this little kid delivers everything without any single flaw. Which is unbelievable. We watch this movie in English. Voice over is superb. Bill Murray as Baloo the bear is funny and adorable. Ben Kingsley as Bagheera the panther is loyal as his character and full of wisdom. Scarlett Johansson as python Kaa hypnotize you with her magnetic and seductive voice. Idris Elba as Sherkhaan the king of the Jungle is full with threats. Other voice overs includes Christopher Walken as King lui and Lupita Nyong as Rakshsa. Other characters have done justice too.
Dialogues are nice and meaningful, works well with the story. Music and background score is soothing too.'Bare Necessities' recreated beautifully. Really appreciated work of Director Jon Favreau, he just did one step ahead job in animation. Full marks too CGI maker. Full marks to Neel Sethi. Full marks too every single person who's part of the movie. Not a single flaw in this movie, everything is just perfect.
If you are reading this and If you haven't watch this movie yet then please go to cinema and watch it, watch it in 3D or IMAX. Must watch with your kids(if you have), tell them how awesome your childhood was. And If you want to watch this at home then please wait till Blue-ray version of this movie comes out. I'll again watch this movie in Hindi, don't want to miss "chaddi pehn ke phool khila hai." song.
