Story:

The Immortals of Meluha is fabulously scripted. It's amazing how Amish Tripathi, has taken Shiva's legend and turned into a superb fiction.

I can perceive the creativity and the deep thinking that has gone into writing this book.

Every new character has been introduced with perfect timing and every situation with a perfect plan.

The narration is so very compelling, it brings forth the understanding of Shiva's evolution from a Tibetan tribal leader to the "Neelkanth", the dancer-warrior who vanquishes the enemy, but prays for their departed soul.

The travails of Anandmayi, the seductive Chandravanshi princess is heart-warming. In her quest to win

over the soldier General, Parvateshwar, the play she engages in turns even a stone-hearted into a amorous gent. The General vowed to life time celibacy, succumbs to the maiden's sway.

The book also brings to the reader, enormous amount of spiritual thinking via Shiva's interaction with the Vasudev's - the celestial teachers guiding Shiva in his quest of conquering evil.
