This is the first book of shiva triology by author Amish.Basically I am an atheist and I am still, but I know everything related to mythology . This story begins with the entry of shiva, the leader of guna tribe somewhere near manas sarovar.
The tribesmen were brought to the land of Meluha by nandi. Due to the effect of somras given by Ayurvathi throat of Shiva turns blue, in meluha there was a practice that whoever had that blue throat was said to be the god of their lands.In such a way a mythological story is turned into a story of the early modern era.
Every character in the real myth of lord shiva is given so beautifully that the original theme of the story is never left. I would like to congratulate Author Amish for his amazing creativity in the field of fiction.Those who are atheists like me could read this book as it does not contain any of the magic tricks done by gods. It has major reality in it.
