The Hunger Games has an IMDB rating of 8.0... Draws inspirations from post apocalyptic world where people kill each other in a game!! Ever heard and seen this before( read The Tournament, The Death Race and numerous such movies). What separates this movie from these blood gushing, mad killing spree movies is that this movie is made minus all that murdering.
It feels so much like a sin game (read Dragons of Atlantis) for the movie is slow paced but it has its moments of artistry and poetry on its own!! Its just an overrated movie but people who enjoy the goth and dark movies will like it.
