It was a disgusting start to the 2nd day of the new year 2008! The headlines of HT screamed 'Shame Old Story'!! What is wrong with the media?? Do we realize what should we publish and what should be left out?? The so called FOURTH ESTATE is going to the dogs!!
Did the editor of HT realize what he/she was doing when the photograph of the girls being molested was being approved for the day's HEADLINES!!! Is it down to only MORE sales and who comes up with the most exclusive news!! What about integrity, respect? It was one thing to report the news of the molestation and another to publish the pictures. Where does one's sensibility go when its most needed? How could you print and publish the photograph that you did. How can you allow a girl to be seen semi-nude by the entire nation? Are you really reporting or are you creating sensational news? Do you really care about what happened or are you just wanting more people to buy the newspaper.
SHAME ON YOU HINDUSTAN TIMES! PLEASE CHANGE THE NAME OF YOUR NEWSPAPER-HINDUSTAN DOES NOT SUIT YOU ANYMORE!!
