A film made in rush. Review on The Hero

The story of the hero lays on the officer (sunny deol)who is very kind and freindly. falls in love with the village girl _preity zinta_ who was trained to be a spy in the enemy own home. after so many actions and running and saving. they got engaged. for the worst luck the enemy seeked revenge and ruined the happiness with the missing of poor preity in the river. she was found on the shore by a rich young man who helped her and took her to a hospital abroad when she was taken care of the young female doctor _periyaka chopra_. meanwhile sunny was sent to the same country to do a spy thing through pretnding love to the doctor who were the doughter of the bad guy. the rest of the film must be left to be watched.

the hero was made under the title of A LOVE STORY OF A SPY.ok maybe the director saw it like that. but wait a minute! that spy was sunny or preity??

well, if the director means sunny deol, then he didn't noticed the role of preity. I mean, sunny wasn't a spy in that film. he was a police officer who every body knows his identity. he made some UNBLEIVABLE action to save his country and his beloved (that action reminds me by the action of james bond movies).

any way, we went along with the film to see that it shift from james bond action to the saint. wasn't val kilmir the one who appeared in many diffrent faces to reach the information he seeks? (i must say that the make up and customs guys did an average job cause no long or blond hair and fashioned glasses would change sunny face).

also that scine when preity was warmming sunny from freezing was some how copied from the saint.

mission impossible was also there when sunny wanted to steal the disc.

away from the copying thing. the film was so full of events that didn't have it's right in doing there were so much introducing for the main plot between sunny and preity with no use. they took very long time to fall in love which wasn't good shown in the film.

sunny deol wasn't in his best shape doing the film. he had the same face all along the events. in love, hate, anger, happiness and sadness he had the same emotions and same features.

periyanka were good as a beginner in the industry. she were confident and enjoy what she were doing. regardless she needs more time to be a real acterss.

for preity it was like ( way to go girl) after her recent hit films and the great deal of acting, preity is getting more more experet in the acting thing.

the film and the songs were in whole good to be watched once.

not forgetting to say that it could have been much better.
