Haldi restaurant located in marathalli on main road is not a very old restaurant. After reading reviews on zomato I decided to gi there on 14th of feb and it was the worst decision that I made. The restaurant opens at 7 pm and I had booked a table beforehand for 2 people.
We reached and 6.45 pm and were sat on one of the tables. Nobody was there in the restaurant except one person. No staff was there and after us coming they started doing the cleaning and stuff. The booking was for 7 pm and our order was taken at 7.30. So we wasted half an hour sitting there. Even until 8.30 not a single customer had come. Anyways after giving order we were told that the soup we ordered was not available and we had to change our order. We ordered tomato soup which had less salt and no buns or bread crumbs were served. On reading reviews it was written that tgey give complementary papad which was not given to us. Anyways after soup the started ordered was classic panner tikka which again lacked salt and the person who was serving had no experience I guess because everytime he served he spilled the food and said sorry. After the starter thale main course took another 15 minutes to arrive and the manchurian was good but the hakka noodles only had vegetables. In the drink we ordered fresh lime which was pathetic. It was at room temperature and they did not even have ice. After returning when it came again it was the same and I think a better one can be made at home. In dessert gajar ka halwa was ordered which had less sugar. So in a nutshell everything had some or the other missing.
Now they had some lucky draw offer on that day and even after paying the bill they did not bring it by themselves. We had to ask them to bring and then they brought the bowl. We won a free dessert and when we told them to adjust it with the dessert on the bill they denied. The coupon should have been given earlier so that we would not have wasted our money! We wasted Rs 800 for such pathetic dinner and mood that was spoiled was another thing. I am never coming back to this place and will never recommend it to anybody. The staff service is very poor be it serving or bringing the food or menu. They had no mocktail option and the menu was very limited. Not at all value for money but a waste of money and time. We wasted 2 hours just to have dinner by waiting for food.
