Eeeek!! thers a painted kid running around me!!!!. Review on The Grudge Movie

Eeeeeeeeeek !! I felt like screaming while I was watching the movie... man it WAS scary!! (Isnt it very hard to imagine a scary expression on that the tough bad guy on the left in black and white - hee hee ;))

The story and logic are certainly not the best ones could come across but the background score is real scary.

(but again its just the usual stuff where the audience is made to undergo periods of silence and suddenly exposed to high decibel jolts)

The story is simple and silly, it revolves around a house that becomes haunted, when the owner kills his wife for fantasizing a professor(who doesnt even know that she loved him or even existed). He then kills his little son and commits suicide. Their sorrow/grudge gets stuck with the house(This is a Japanese saying!).

And of course then there are new tenants coming to get scared outta their wits and killed like drunken chicken trying to fly over a national highway.

The movie is not one that sets you thinking and falling into deep analysis

Its the kinda movie that you watch when your manager no longer scares you, and one fine evening you get this urge to re-experience that scary feeling =).

In other words its an attempt by Japs to try out something like the RING and end up with a messier yet scary version.

And finally if you watch this movie with your ears closed (hey I promise I dint do that, hey are you saying I did that !! NO!! I dint =O Hey! you are not believing me ) , you will find the movie damn funny, with a painted kid running all around.
