The (great) Khali. Review on The Great Khali

Notice how everything starting with The is taking a beating nowadays. the number of times the was used in Tashan may have been one of the reasons for its downfall. This reminds me of someone else who adds(or is added by the WWE creative team) a'The' in their name - The Great Khali.

Now, to be very frank, The Great Khali is a celebrity in his own right in India. He is there in the newspapers almost every other day, and I am sure, if he does it right for the next few years, Vince McMahon may understand that India is a greater market for the WWE than Japan and actually have their shows in India in real time.

Anyway, that is just a dream, looking at the way The Great Khali been taking care of things till now. The truth be said, the WWE is all about wrestlers, feuds, happenings and storylines. The feuds depend on the storylines, the storylines depend on the happenings and all these depend on the wrestler.

Therefore, apart from the vicious training that is given to a WWE wrestler, the Great Khali should have an ability to'cut a promo' - that was something that Rock and Austin did, and in fact every wrestler does, but the Rock and Austin did it the best - ever.

Which he sadly doesnt. Also, he doesnt exactly show any inring capabilties. Yes, he is seven foot and all that and will not be as agile and athlethic as Rey Mysterio. But how many big men in the WWE do I have to show who are more agile than Khali - the Big Show, Kane, Undertaker - the list goes on.

So, I do not have great ideas about Khali. I think he will soon be dumped into the mid card and forgotten, except when the Indian news channels have nothing more to cover.
