I am a regular visitor to GIP as it is a nice mall and offers international shopping experience except for the people!
I happened to be at GIP on 18-Sep-2010 at about 1:30 pm. While moving out of the basement parking I found two street dogs sitting besides my car. As I started to move the car out, one of the dogs chased my car for some distance and barked all along. After a few meters I saw a security personnel and asked him about the dogs in parking, to my amazement his reply was, "Yeh to yahin rahte hain" (The dogs stay here).
I reached the exit of parking and while producing the ticket I informed the security again about the dogs and got another pathetic reply, "Yeh katate nahin hain" (These dogs do not bite). While moving out finally from the mall I informed another security personnel about the dogs and got a reply which was just as pathetic as the previous ones "Aap gate number 4 par report kariye" (Report this at gate number 4).
I am sure the guys who thought of GIP must have had some vision to change the shopping experience at GIP but the attitude of people employed to maintain the mall is definitely going to let them down soon. This is my humble plea to GIP management to look into these small things and please make it a truly international experience at GIP.
