The Ghazi Attack starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni is war film based on real events. The writer-director of this film is Sankalp Reddy.
The main story of this film is based on the Indian submarine S-21 for torpedoing PNS Ghazi and bringing the monster to its end.
According to the Pak army, PNS Ghazi sank due to explosions caused by itself or the landmines it laid in the Bay of Bengal. However, the Indian Navy credits the destroyer INS Rajput for sinking PNS Ghazi. As of today, it is a mystery and was thus, a ripe subject for a filmmaker to base a war film on.
However the film has an exceptionally tight screenplay that does not stop for a minute to breathe.
