Fun valley is one of the biggest Amusement/water parks in Dehradun, it is en-route to Rishikesh from Dehradun, around 15 kms from our place.
It is very busy during summers and weekends due to summer holidays. This place provides good entertainment for family and kids.
There is ample parking in the park for vehicles. It is on highway and easily accessible by road. There are many buses which pass this resort from ISBT Dehradun. There are local jeeps which also run to Rishikesh daily and pass this resort.
The resort remains open from 9 am till 7 pm on daily basis in summers. The tickets are available locally at few shops in Dehradun and also at the resort. The tickets surprisingly are priced as per height of the customer. There are discounted rates for school group(picnic) and corporate houses. You also have to pay for the swim suits if you are not carrying one.
The park also has small cottages for customers who want to stay overnight which are within the premises.
There are many rides available here, some of which includes a toy train for kids, go karting, Pool for kids, water park for all ages, water slides and many more.
There is a 5-D theater for for ages and entry fee is Rs 100 per head. There is a food court which caters different delicacies with an ice cream corner with shakes.
Toilets are near the water park and are mostly clean, the changing rooms in men's section does not have doors, which is surprising.
It is sad to see that the water is the park is not clean, very dirty(muddy) in the "Wave" section.
Overall, a good place especially for the kids to have fun.
